History The hotel with Art Nouveau elements was built by architect J. Vejrych in 1904. Its interiors were designed by A. Pfeifer and the ceramic mosaics by J. Köhler. In 1991 the government returned the hotel to its original owners, the Brandejs family. The Brandejs family has been in the hotel business for over 150 years. In 1997 the heirs of Mr. Brandejs restored the hotel's original hallmark of early Art Nouveau.

The hall and the stairway Upon entering our hotel, you will be submerged by the splendor of Hotel Pariz. The stairway is probably one of the most elegant part of the hotel. The preserved window panels, with its rosette and citrus motives are finally complemented by hand painting motifs. The decorative cast-iron railing leading you to the hotel corridors are also an exquisite characteristic of Hotel Pariz.

Restaurant "Sarah Bernhardt" The restaurant is a masterpiece of architecture. It is named after Sarah Berhnardt, an actress and singer. The interior is classic Art Nouveau: blue cleft mosaic with original lighting fixtures, wooden wainscoting and gilded stuccowork. This makes the restaurant a pearl amongst its Prague rivals. The restaurant offers outstanding French, Czech and international cuisine. "Café de Paris" & Bar While "Café de Paris" resembles the traditional cafés in Paris, it also echoes the Art Nouveau 1920´s culture that still flourishes in Prague.
